It is reported that the G104 Jinglan Line Jinan Yellow River Highway Bridge Expansion Project is a north-south main road connecting Jinan’s new and old kinetic energy conversion starting area and the old city. The starting point is about 500 meters south of the intersection of Jihua Road and East Second Ring Road in Licheng District. The starting area is east of Chenjia, Daqiao Street, Shanhou, and has a level crossing with G220. The total investment is about 7 billion yuan, and the total length of the line is 7748 meters. It is expected to be completed and opened to traffic in 2024.
Among them, the main bridge is 6.87 kilometers long, the newly built Yellow River Bridge is 2518 meters long, the upper layer is a two-way eight-lane highway, and the lower layer is a two-lane rail transit. The Yellow River Highway Bridge (a twin-tower concrete cable-stayed bridge with a main span of 220 meters) will be constructed in parallel. The center distance between the new and old bridges is 33.5 meters. It is the first parallel bridge construction project on the Yellow River. The new bridge is built in parallel with the old bridge, breaking the record of “crossing the Yellow River”. It is the road-rail layered bridge with the largest span and the longest steel bridge on the Yellow River.
